Social Innovation and Foresight Workshop for Emerging Leaders

Social and cultural learning, the study of myth and metaphor, the arts and immersive storytelling can enrich our meaning of life and alter and even transform our  personal and collective social outlook. The stories, the discourse, myth or narrative that inform us and our imaginations creates the world and the reality we live in.

We want to explore communities, young and emerging leaders futures EQ/IQ and engage them to deep innovation and social foresight.  Creating high quality images, stories and understanding about local futures and applying these in useful ways like developing a policy, organizing a movement, guiding a strategy, avoiding or mitigating disasters and pursuing social innovations is social foresight (Foresight International, 2014).

The Center for Engaged Foresight and its host of  “city networks” will hold a workshop on Social Innovation and Foresight for Emerging Leaders on the 20th of September at the Joe 10’s Coffee Shop Laoag.  The event will be held in different parts  of the country in Laoag, Vigan, San Fernando, Baguio, Manila, Cebu, and Davao city.
