Leadership, Design & Sustainable Development

Dr. Joseph Press is the co-founder of MakeOurFuture, a global consulting cooperative helping organizations transition to more sustainable practices. He is also a Futures Advisor at the Institute For The Future, where he leverages over 25 years of global experience in innovation, design and leadership to create better futures for all. He began his career as an architect, completing his Ph.D.at MIT in Design Technology. Following 15 years with Deloitte Digital advising digital transformation initiatives, he joined the Center for Creative Leadership to learn the arts of leadership. He is currently a Visiting Professor at the Politecnico di Milano, and recently published IDeaLs (Innovation and Design as Leadership): Transformation in the Digital Era (Emerald Publishing August 2021). He lives in Zürich Switzerland with his wife and daughter, and often travels to visit family in the United States and Israel.
