The Asia Pacific Futures Network recently had a reboot of the network by launching the APFN 2.0 with a new website, a working committee, and a visionary board. CEF Chief Futurist is a co-founder, chair of the APFN 2020 conference held in Manila, and a member of the APFN working committee. The event also launched the 8th APFN Conference: “Remedies for the Future: Creating a healthier Asia Pacific Conference 2050. “The conference will be held in five cities (Seoul, Bangkok, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, and Manila) in five days. It will be a hybrid conference with some in physical attendance and others participating virtually.

The Manila event on the 1st of October will be hosted by the Center for Engaged Foresight (CEF). The Asia Pacific Futures Network (APFN) is a community of future practitioners and learners around the world. Its vision is to see Futures’ thinking and strategic foresight used throughout Asia and the Pacific to address the challenges faced by people in their groups, organizations, and communities.
