Shermon Cruz speak futures at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy Executive Education
Center for Engaged Foresight Director and Chief Futurist was one of the panelists of the recent Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy Executive Education Futures Forward Webinar “Developing Futures Capabilities in Public Service. The second episode tackled ways by which public service institutions can develop futures capabilities that allow public service to move beyond traditional policy silos and realize multiple developments can intersect and collaborate in plural and unexpected ways.
The Webinar Series titled was aired on 28 April 2021. The Executive Education program invited three distinguished panelists to share their insights that include Iva Aminuddin, Head Learning Futures Group, Civil Service College Singapore; Ora-orn-Poocharoen, Director School of Public Policy, Chiang Mai University and Shermon Cruz, Director and Chief Futurist, Center for Engaged Foresight. The conversation was moderated by Cheryl Chung, Programme Director for Executive Education Singapore Futures at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. The session explored a comparative perspective on how futures capabilities can be developed within public sector organizations to achieve greater anticipatory capacity in coping with uncertainties.
